Study Abroad Programs
Biology study abroad courses are for both majors (area F guided electives or area H ecology/evolution elective) and non-biology majors (counts in area D as a lab science course). Students learn the local flora and fauna as well as unique environments and cultural aspects of each site visited. Students design mini ecology classes, set up and collect data on site, then analyze and present their finding upon return to CSU.

Summary: Students visit local clinics and discuss common health issues facing individuals on Andros. CSU students host a two day spay and neuter clinic for companion animals on Andros. Students collect medical and veterinary donations to share with the Androsians as part of this service learning course.

Summary: Students follow the life of Charles Darwin from his college years to his collections while on the Beagle to his personal struggles with his theory of evolution. Students walk his garden path at Down House and visit various sites of the great debates on evolution.
